DISABLE YOUR ANTIVIRUS BEFORE RUNNING ‘Setup.exe’ (IMPORTANT) as an anti-virus will mark ‘setup’ as a suspicious file, causing it to be unable to run the installation or possibly run but with some errors, same for uninstall…..(For avast users: Disable DeepScreen in antivirus settings)…

After starting setup, click on ‘Configure’, specify installation directory, click next and next, select required software (Direct X [available in Redist folder]),, next again,, finally on ‘Install’…PLAY THE GAME FROM DESKTOP SHORTCUT using Run as Administrator…. The first time you open the game, the game will take some time start (black screen) and skip the intro video, please be patient, next time it will start normally and fast…. The first once you load each world it takes time to load be patient It’s like running 10 games at once (don’t assume it’s frozen) just wait and let it load…
Always open the game with ‘Run as administrator’ to avoid game crash/save problem
.. If it still crashes, lower the graphics settings from the in-game options and check if you meet the system requirements. NOTE: Change ‘Shadows’ from high to low or medium through the graphics/performance options in the game, otherwise a black square will appear under your Sims instead of inner shadows…
