Is she a mermaid or a myth?
Scenario
Partenope is a woman named after her city. In Greek myth, Parthenope is the mermaid who committed suicide after failing to cast a spell on Odysseus. Her body was brought by the wave to the place where the Castel dell’Ovo is now built, and for this she gave the name to the city that would later become Neapolis, Naples.

The cinematography is great and some scenes are very good
The characters are somewhat picturesque, but there is little mixing with the story. The university professor is probably the only real person in the film. The lead actress is pretty and should have been supported by the crew.
I am very proud of him
I hope Sorrentino will work on a better movie in the future. Maybe next time he could write a story about his inner imagination outside of Naples and Italy. A story that describes people from another country, the life of France.
