This is an unusual case where the movie is better than the book it is based on.
All of that was lost in the transfer to visual media
The story is tight and while some details have changed, it is to better fit the format.
The production values are top notch and Gary Oldman is great as Jackson Lamb
I don’t know where some people get the impression that this is a woke drama, but the gender and racial makeup is consistent with the original source material, so the guy who wrote the review should act like an adult and get back to the real world.
